China HR gathering 2004

Summertime is exceptionally beautiful at West Lake in Hangzhou, where some 50 HR professionals from Philips China gathered for their annual convention at Xizi Hotel. We welcomed many old friends, and greeted new colleagues as well.

This year's theme was "One Philips, One China, One HR". During the meeting, participants discussed different topics in the field of human resources - from business partnership to talent management, from general core curriculum to employee engagement. The climax was the retirement ceremony of Madam Huang, who served in Philips for 15 years.

The meeting set a good tone for an internal exchange within HR circle. Participants highly appreciated the event's extensive content and are eager to join in the next gathering.
